What's New In This Course?

Since the release of this course, we have had lots of enquires asking what makes this new course different from our women's health coaching course. This new course has been designed to replace the health coaching course as we wanted something more yoga focused that could be of assitance to yoga teachers, making it a bit more niche and focused on the benefits of yoga. we took out all of the health coaching and women's circle information and put in some new videos that were more focused on just yoga, the new videos are

  • The benefits of yoga for women's health - this takes a more detailed look at how yoga can specifically benefit women's health

  • Stress and hormone balance - we take a look at how stress can interrupt hormone balance and the ways that yoga can support the rebalancing of hormones

  • Inversions during the bleeding phase - we discuss the traditional idea that women who are in the bleeding phase of their cycle shouldn't be doing inversions and open up the discussion of whether or not this is still what we should be practicing and teaching to students

  • Working with compression and release techniques for better blood flow to the reproductive organs - we go over the yoga postures that are specifically beneficial for women's health and how to use the technique of compressing certain areas of the body, for example the lower abdomen, and then releasing that pressure, to encourage better blood flow. I do video demonstrations of how to do this using a rolled up blanket with certain yoga postures.

  • A more detailed video of how to create your own women's health yoga classes and workshops

  • Do I need to be a yoga teacher to take this course?

While you don't need to be a yoga teacher to take this course, it is recommended. This course was created with yoga teachers in mind, it is aimed at students who have already been taught yoga, yoga philosophy and yoga poses and who would like to increase their knowledge and skills. When we go over yoga poses in the course, you aren't necessarily taught about the pose, how to go into it and out of it etc. Rather, we go over how the pose can specifically benefit women's health, so that you can offer yoga for women's health classes. So this course could serve many people, you don't need to be a yoga teacher but it is recommended.

  • Is this course the same as the Anjali Women's Holistic Health Coaching Course?

Some of the material in this course will be the same as the Anjali Women's Holistic Health Coaching Course. This new course will take over the health coaching course and the health coaching course will no longer be available for new students to enroll. Instead of one health coaching course, we have now developed two more detailed courses, the women's circle facilitator course and this new yoga for women's health course, these will replace the women's health coaching course.

  • Can I still access the women's health couaching course and materials if I previously enrolled?

Yes, you can. Even though the health coaching course will no longer be available to new students, all previous students will still have lifetime access to the course and the materials. This is the same with all of our courses, once enrolled, you have lifetime access.

  • Why did you stop offering the women's health coaching course?

Our women's health coaching course was very popular and received wonderful reviews, however, because there were so many different topics covered in the course, for example, health coaching, yoga and women's circles, we were finding that some students would want to study one or two of the topics but not the other, such as a yoga teacher who only wanted the yoga knowledge, so we decided to separate the topics, offer more information related to each topic and offer separate courses with separate qualifications.

  • Once enrolled in the women's health yoga teacher training course , how long do I have to complete the course? Will I have lifetime access to the content and materials?

Once enrolled in the women's health yoga teacher training course, you have lifetime access to the course, the materials and to any updates. You can take as much time as you need to complete this course.

  • Is this course Yoga Alliance approved?

Yes, this course is a Yoga Alliance continuing education approved program, on completion of this course, you will receive a professional certificate from the Anjali Academy with the Yoga Alliance logo on it. This course is good for 12 YA hours.
